Introduction

Framilia ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service. By accessing or using Framilia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Local Device Data

Framilia operates primarily on your device. The app accesses photos and videos that you have already stored in your device's Photos app. We do not collect, store, or transmit these photos and videos to our servers. All photo and video data remains on your device at all times.

App Usage Information

We may collect information about how you interact with the app, such as features used, slideshow preferences, and app performance metrics. This information is collected locally on your device and is used solely to improve your experience.

Device Information

We may collect information about your device, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. This information helps us optimize the app for your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To optimize app performance for your device
  • To understand how users interact with the app
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • To comply with legal obligations

Data Storage and Security

Your photos and videos are stored exclusively on your device. We do not store, access, or transmit your photo library to our servers or any third-party services. The app uses your device's native Photos app access, which is controlled by iOS privacy settings.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we do collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your photos, videos, or personal data with external services, advertisers, or analytics platforms.

We may disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Data Retention

Since Framilia primarily operates on your device without collecting data on our servers, data retention is controlled by your device settings and your management of the app. When you uninstall the app, any app-specific data stored on your device is removed. Your photos and videos in the Photos app remain under your control.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your information:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to access the information we hold about you
  • Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your information
  • Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of certain data collection practices

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your information based on your consent and our legitimate interests in providing and improving the Service.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of a revised Privacy Policy means that you accept and agree to the changes.
